Oh wait, it says take a bow. LOL anyways, I'm the Rocketman because of my love for Toledo Rockets athletics, primarily football. Been on this site for a while now but forgot to do my intro. Been into 'mysteries' since the 80s pretty much and the Zodiac is one of the biggest mysteries of the 21st century. So lets solve this thing ok? Ok!

Easier said than done, but I know you were goofing around.

I have a scrapbook full of Zodiac 'stuff' that my uncle had collected in the late 60s and early 70s and I inherited when he passed away. It also had pics he had taken of the crime scenes (he was a newspaper reporter in the bay area back then) and other stuff too. I will dig it out and see if there are any articles or things of interest that have not been posted on here although I would be surprised if there were any.

Hello , I became interested in this case in 1969. I was a waitress in Vallejo like victim Darlene Ferrin, although I don't remember ever meeting her, she came into where I worked which was the Coronado Inn and I would go to Terry's coffee shop after work. She and I dated a Vallejo Cop named Buzz Gordon around the same time , Buzz was a uncle to Jeff Gordon, the race car driver. One night I went to another bar in Vallejo to pick up one of my pay checks and when I left I tried to start my car, it wouldn't start. Some guys I knew looked under my hood and found that my coil wire was taken. They then took one from another car so I could get home. I was then followed to Napa where I lived, only the person following me got to the front of my home before I did. I had tried to lose him and went one block past my street and turned off my lights. I could see that he was parked across the street from my home and was looking in the direction of my driveway as if saying where is she ? I then pulled up along side of him and saw his face for a brief moment, before he contorted his face in an insane way.
That night was the beginning of almost 50 yrs of stalking by that same man. He claims to be the Zodiac, so that is why I am very interested in the Zodiac case.

Welcome Sandy! I have seen your posts at other sites and they are really something. I'm glad you are not another Zodiac victim and are able to share your story. I hope you enjoy this site.

Welcome Rocketman. I like your avatar. Is that something Toldeo uses for their sports teams? I have never seen it before.

Ophion1031, I enjoy telling my story, it is sort of like therapy for me, it is a way for me to vent.
This weekend is when I sometimes hear from my "secret admirer". ( That is what he calls himself) So we will see if he calls or leaves me another clue ? It is a game he and I play with each other. I will keep you posted.

John was talking to Rocketman when he mentioned the avatar. Rocketman's avatar is what he meant. And to answer that question John, Toledo does use that as an alternate logo I think. Or it could be an older logo. I'm not really sure, but I have seen Toledo use it.


Sandy, let me know if he does contact you. Sorry I didn't write back on Morf's site earlier. Been feeling like crud today. I'm off work Thursday and Friday so I plan on resting up and won't be online much so I will write you back on Morf's site on Saturday.

Ophion1031, Have you ever tried AirBorn ? It will make you feel so much better. I sent you a couple of PM's at Morfs. One is from that company I told you about. If you are catching the flue , still try AirBorn and also get Alka-Seltzer cold plus, Hope you feel better soon, rest.

Sorry about your uncle ,please do not throw anything away, even if you don't think it is important ! I don't know who your uncle was or what paper he worked for, but everything is valuable. If you still feel that you want to get rid of some of it, send it to me OK ?
Is there a picture of the Blue Rock crime scene ? We had a hard time trying to see where the exact spot was ? Any pictures would be good to keep . Over the years evidence has been lost.
Perhaps you could ask the Detective at Vallejo PD Terry Poysner (Not sure of the spelling )if he would like copies ? He is working cold cases when he isn't working the day to day crimes in Vallejo.
Most of the crime photos that are on the sites are not very clear, so please share what you can. I know that I would like to see everything !

Better late than never I guess ? Darn I was hoping you saw it a few days ago and were feeling much better by now.
I am so lucky, I haven't had the flue for 50yrs . I can thank my vitamins for that, I refuse to take a flue shot !

I take daily vitamins and never take flu shots either. I normally don't get sick, but having two kids makes it a little harder not not catch something once in a while. And strep throat has been going around the work office lately. I pretty much just felt like crap the one day, but I hadn't slept much earlier in the week. Caught up on sleep and feeling good now, but my older boy is out of school all week on spring break, so I probably won't be sleeping much this week. Oh well. Gotta suck it up.

Glad to hear that you feel better now. Yes Kids bring home all kinds of illness from school. I wish you were able to get the rest that you need. That is when we heal.

I'm glad I waited until I was 28 to have my first kid. Got my partying and hell raising out of the way before I "settled down." Now I am happy being a parent even if that means little rest. It's all worth it. I don't have the kids on Sundays, so I am going to sleep a lot today.
