CCR on Johnny Cash show 9/27/69

it is not directly related to zodiac killer but Credence Clearwater Revivel  played the   Johnny Cash variety show and played bad Moon Rising about the time of the  Lake Berryessa attack. I remember that show came on at 8 pm here
CCR was from El Cerritos Cal across the bay from S F so many there would be tuning into see them ,also they were  big nationally  then . I remember watching that performance then too. they played 3 songs bad moon 1st about 8  min. after 8
if the killings got to the news all of S F metro might see it  because of CCR it would have been in TV guide a week early ,easy to plan

I don't think the news about the murder broke until the next day but I could be wrong. Wish I could have seen that CCR performance!

the show was taped on tuesday from Nashville (I read)
it's bizzare to know when it aired the attack just happend or was happening
and kindof odd that with maybe zodiac astrology aspect of the case ( astrological predictions having to do with the moons  placement in relation to each other) that Bad Moon Rising was playing at that time

LB attack took place a day after full moon and the other attacks 1 day after new or full

with police scanner radio trans not blocked back then ,the news should have known something serious was going on up there soon after

Do people still use police scanners? One thing I remember from my childhood was sitting with my grandma and listening to her police scanner, and I always enjoyed it for some reason.

no they well most every midsized PD uses real time satelite  systems encoded , and has for 20 yrs ?,but in 69 it was for sure easy to tap into what cops wer doing

like stines killing taking place about the time the Grateful dead took the stage on 10/11/69

also the Grateful dead played that date , i know there is more to the country joe and the fish playing most zodiac killing dates eclusively

I wonder if there were any concerts going on during the other murders. If so, maybe checking dates of other murders and concerts would be a good idea and see if anything lines up.

Ah ...yeah my Grateful Dead posts , they played every night that the murders happened
and country Joe and the fish played them to except 1 and only played 1 or 2 times again with TGD , which is very odd....some deadheads would do bad things when they couldn't be at a concert ,vandilize or fights

How crazy would it be if the murders actually tied into the Grateful Dead or the hippie music scene in some way? I can't see the motivation for that, but until someone proves otherwise, it is a possibility.

Why would The G. Dead dedicate a concert to this serial killer ? they were maybe the most
anti-establishment big name group , but support for a killer ? I think Zodiac was establishment , but tried to seem against it .

The whole Z info supports a tie to witchcraft , many of TGD devoted fans / concert goers ( deadheads ) were very close to being or favorable to the religion
the TGD 1st album titled- Witchcraft

Yeah that is weird that they would dedicate a concert to Zodiac. Maybe a band member or two, or maybe all of them, were into the mystery of it all. Maybe there was a tie between the band and the killer(s).
