raiders moving to vegas?

what does everyone think about this? as a 49ers fan it doesn't bother me one way or the other but it would be nice to have nfl games close by.

Vegas would probably be a good market for an NFL team.

I don't like when teams move cities. I feel bad for Rams fans that have no NFL team now. Rocket may be right though about Vegas being a good NFL market. They would host Denver and KC every season, as they do now, and it would be easier for fans of those 2 teams to make those road games. Cardinal fans are close and would make the short trek I'm sure. And then teams from further away would be willing to make a weekend of it by going to Vegas. Come to think about it I do think it is a good idea.

I normally don't like teams moving either but if it's a team moving out of Cali then I am fine with it. Give some pro sports teams to other states who have none and could use it.

Ophion and I were discussing the possibility of UNLV being impacted by the Raiders moving to Vegas. It could be very good for them and help with the push to join a bigger conference such as the Pac 12 or Big 12 and both conferences have expressed an interest to expand.

This move may end up happening and could become official by the end of the year it sounds like.

I would feel terrible for Raiders fans if their team moved AGAIN, but at the same time I get why it makes sense and it could be a good move for the organization. I have said it before, I would be pissed if my team moved and it was being talked about 5 years ago, rumors that the Vikings could move to L.A., but thankfully it didn't happen.

Why not just start a new team for lost wages
Oakland has a decent fan base  I think 

How about the Gamblers or the Playboys

They have an amazing fan base and the are successful this year. The Raiders fans are going to be pissed if they move.
