Royals pitcher Yolado Ventura was killed in a car wreck there Sat. also another MLB player killed te same. Way seems Yolado Ventura s Wrangler ran off the road

don, I see yo are from overland park. isn't there a junior college there that produces a lot of football players that go on to major universities? sorry to change the subject

I do not know of the jr college that much ,but we have had a few  tampa bays Qb from 10YRS ago Grandview HS, Josh Freeman Shawnee mission  HS  too , some start out at jr college then move to div 1
I think Dontary Poe was the guy at a small college  playing tuba in the band ,the football coach  saw him and made him def line immediately

Yeah, Overland Park Community College is one of the best JUCO football schools in the country. A lot of kids from the Midwest play there and the better ones go on to play major college football. My Cyclones have had some guys that came from Overland Park. Actually, they had a cornerback commit to them in this years class but then he decommitted and went somewhere else (South Carolina I think). At the time he committed to ISU, he was the #1 JUCO CB in the entire country.
