Re: Funniest names in sports history
Hahahahaha Kurt Rambis!!! What a dork! I always wanted the Billy Ripken "Fuck Face" card but always got the version with the black box over it. I probably had about a dozen of those. I seen a few of the actual "Fuck Face" ones but I don't think I ever saw the white-out version or the black scribbled out version before. If I still collected cards, I would order one of each online, which was not an option when I was collecting as a kid. Back then we would just buy packs and trade cards with friends.

Armstrong looks like a serial killer. Never heard of the mad Robouski. When did he play?
Re: Funniest names in sports history
Al Hraboski   aka the mad hungarian       in the 80,s  a relief pitcher
The crowds got a kick out of his antics home and away
Did you ever see the Gaylord Perry footage of him getting caught doctoring the ball ? He had a smidge of wax or vasealine under the hat brim the ump came to the mound looked at his hand ,then the cap but perry would put his pitching hand behind him as the ump looked at the hat ,and asked to show his hand again ,he grabbed the hat and put it back on ...back and forth  3x trying to not show them together
Perry in the  George Brett pinetar incident
came up when the shoving started and got the 3rd base ump to hand him the illegal bat
soon the home base ump wanted the bat ,perry had it hidden under his arm walking back to the dugout ,then the chase began
It was rumered that the Bill Brasskey SNL scetch was formed about a ML pitchers
life stories being told in the clubhouse bar and thought to be Gaylord as a sports writer here had a nephew at SNL and relayed the story
