Musicians you can't stand

Who are some musicians you hate and why?


I have a bunch, but Lars Ulrich of Metallica is at the top of the list. He is an over rated drummer and a complete douchebag. I can't stand listening to him talk.

I dont know lots probably , but my favorite died today Glenn Frey of the pEagles I say they easilly were more popular and talented than any other group for the last 45 years  here in U S and he was a big part of that and with  his solo career...... Take it eeeaaassy... Glen

Oh damn, I did not hear that Glenn passed away. That sucks. My mom is a huge Eagles fan and has been for as long as I remember. I can still remember listening to their music when I was really little. Her nickname as a teenager was "Toker" hahaha. RIP Glenn!!

I fucking HATE Kobain and Nirvana, although I do like Dave Grohl. He is a good musician and a very cool guy. Cobain was a below average guitarist and just an ok vocalist. But they wrote catchy tunes and I think they hit at the right time. Call it luck I guess. I learned how to play a Nirvana riff on guitar when I was a teenager and had not ever picked up a guitar before, that is how simple and easy their music was.

Also on my hate list:

-Green Day
-Blink-182
-The Offspring (although I do like their first album, particularly the song "Beheaded")
-Any other "pop punk" band that doesn't realize that POP PUNK is an oxymoron.
-Any country musician not named Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams or Waylon Jennings.
-Any rap/hip-hop artist not named Eazy-E, Busta Rhymes, Ice-T, Ice Cube, MC Ren, Spice-1 or Wu-Tang Clan.
-AC/DC (2nd most over rated band ever... Nirvana being #1)
-Sublime


This is just my "little list"
I am high as a mofo on NyQuil right now (battling a cold) so I cannot think of any more, but it's gonna end up being a pretty long list.

I once had a coworker that grew up in a nice section of LA I forget the township ,but we kept telling him wow thats a big switch to here. He was sore about it saying there are many kids out there that get angry starting in their mid teens knowing they are not going to be able to live out in Cal as they always did and become destructive ,even college grads know they will have to try it in another state as every body wants Cal

There's so much music I love, yet so much music I hate. I'm far from convinced that there should even be a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame but since there is one, it's sole mission should have been to keep Journey out of it! And The Eagles.

What do you think about Guns-n-Roses making the Hall of Fame? I didn't think much of it at first, because they were huge for quite a while, but then I realized that they only put out ONE great album. The 'Use Your Illusions' albums were not too bad, but 'Appetite for Destruction' was the only album that was really really good. I know other things factor into a band's success - touring being a major part of it, which they did for a long time, but still... I don't think any band with just one great album should make the Hall of Fame. I fucking HATE AC/DC, but I won't argue them being in. N.W.A. and Public Enemy, RAP GROUPS, should not be in. When they were inducted, that is when I started to view the whole thing as a joke. Because of this, being in the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame means jack shit and I have zero respect for the whole thing. It sucks because a lot of the bands/artists who made it in really deserved to be there.

there are a bunch of bands who don't belong in the HoF but made it. yep g-n-r is one of them

I really like like G 'n' R. And AC/DC.
