I wonder what exactly they meant by "dazed trance." Was Ross on LSD or was it something else? There is also the matter of Ross' size, 6'2" 300 lbs. Some people think that is too big to be Zodiac, but people had described Ross as weighing more than what he looked like he would weigh. In other words, he looked to be about 225-230 when really he was 300 lbs.

'Bizarre behavior' is for surely an accurate description and it makes me wonder what is meant by 'he was in a DAZED trance' do they mean drugs or maybe booze?

There was no explanation so really it could have been a number of things. I think if it was alcohol related that they probably would have just said he was drunk. Maybe pills? He was probably on medication(s) I would think. LSD was my initial thought, though.

I know the other sites make a big deal out of Ross's size/weight and I have not seen any discussion of that here so I have to ask what you all think about that?

I know he was described as being beefy or stocky but not fat when he was in high school and he did weigh about 250 or 275 then so years later if he was 300 pounds then he probably didnt add much in terms of blubber. I think he hits the nail on the head as far as descriptions go because yes he was stocky and he looks exactly like the composite sketch from the Stine murder scene.
