1981 FBI file

Anyone seen this before? I'm assuming Gareth Penn is the blacked out name.

Who ever wrote that piece of garbage couldn't find his a-- with both hands. That is not Penn's style, he has more class than the person who wrote that. This jerk made false statements against Dave Toschi , because of a nasty rumor that was started by Armistead Maupin, a reporter from the SF Chron. It destroyed Dave Toschi's life ! Toschi did not write that letter , he admitted to a fan letter that he did write which had nothing at all to do with Zodiac.

I never thought Dave wrote the letter either.

I'm not sure why I thought this was Penn I guess it just seemed like it would be.

You thought that because that is where Penn felt his suspect O'Hare had killed someone. That is understandable. Penn is also a suspect by many on Chris Farmers site, who by the way kicked me off, because I proved the map he had was not the map he claimed was sent by Zodiac. I wasn't trying to make him look stupid, he didn't need any help for that LOL.

I could be wrong , I have read a lot of what Penn has written and even though the story fits what he believes, the wording just didn't sound like Penn to me. Penn is well educated and is a very good writer. He is one of the people I have on my bucket list to meet. His suspect O'Hare is a nice person, he gave me copies of letters that Penn sent to him. One of the people from Farmers site asked If I would get samples of Penn's writing so I did.
( It is not like Zodiac's) .But then I knew it wouldn't be with out getting his samples. My guy's writing is a match, so much so that I was told it was too much like Zodiac's.

I just re-read it a few more times and it sounds to me like someone was writing about Penn . The shorter black out areas when referring to a name, are about the size of 4 letters

That's what I was thinking as well. It does seem like Penn.

How did Penn come to suspect O'Hare? I can't remember if that was ever talked about before or not. Is there writing for Penn or your suspect posted anywhere?

I am pretty sure that it was mentioned how O'Hare became a suspect of Penn's, but I don't remember what it was. I might need to see if I can find it?
My suspects writing can be seen on my thread at Morf's . It also shows pictures of some of the items that were put in my car at the end of Sept 69. It could be on my thread at Tom site also. Nice of them both to give me my own thread. I think that they were tired of me interjecting my suspect when ever I had the chance LOL.

I think Penn's reasoning for suspected O'Hare has been posted on a few sites, but very few people take it seriously. I'm in that boat as well. To me, Penn really didn't present much of a case. I'm not saying there is no way O'Hare was Z, but Penn seems to make a better suspect than O'Hare.

One way is to go to the picture and copy the URL and then paste it into the little photo tab thingy. When you put the mouse over it, it will say "insert image."
