I like what they did. They should be ok this year. Corey Coleman makes a fine replacement for Travis Benjamin. Getting Scooby Wright at the end of the draft was awesome. He only fell that far due to injury but if he gets healthy he could start in the future. Ogbah will probably start right away and upgrade the pass rush and Carl Nassib is a good pass rusher but will be a back up for a year or two I think. Cody Kessler at QB might be a good pick I don't know at the moment. I think McCown will start anyways but RGIII could push him for the job and Kessler will probably sit and learn for a year or two. Spencer Drango and Rashard Higgins were great additions late. Drango is a beast and Higgins may be the most underrated player in the entire draft.

Drango dominated in college. I wonder what the scouts saw that dropped him to the later rounds.

That German dude that the Vikings drafted is quite a story. NFL experts saying he will take a couple years to get used to the NFL game and that they will have to 'hide' him on the practice squad.

If they put him on the practice squad, someone else can pick him up. Maybe they will have him on the active roster and cut someone like Charles Johnson or Patterson.

Seen that happen before where a team 'hides' a player on PS and another team scoops them up.

The Cowboys got a really quality DE last year that KC was trying to hide on the practice squad. I forget the kids name but he was a rookie and played really well for Dallas.

That was David Irving. He played for Iowa State for 3 years and was booted off the team before his Senior year. Very talented kid but had some off the field issues.

Anyone else think Tom Brady's suspension will not be held up again this year? Has anybody heard anything about Clay Matthews being suspended?

Brady won't miss a game, which is bullshit. The Matthews thing I think may have been a hoax, but not too sure.

Blair Walsh will miss a 42 yard game tying FG and the Vikings will lose to the Patriots 27-24.

Haha good one, Don! I think we can count the Broncos out this year. They lost a couple good defensive players and have no decent QB's. I'm going to say New England beating Arizona in the SB.

Yeah, I could see Arizona making it.

Don, great comment! Who the hell would have ever thought we would see a team cheat by deflating a ball?

I don't know why but I just now learned that Megatron (Calvin Johnson) retired. I knew Marshawn Lynch retired but never heard that Megatron had as well. Can't really blame the guy he plays for a terrible team. Same situation Barry Sanders was in.

Calvin Johnson confirmed that he will not play this year. And apparently some NFL playes will be interviewed about PED usage.

I really hope Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers get suspended for a bit. If they are out week 2 then I would feel better about the Vikings beating them. AND it will be the first ever regular season game in their new stadium!

Peyton Manning is being interviewed as well. I love the guy and would hate to see his brilliant career tarnished but if he used these illegal steroids then throw his ass in the fire. Reminds me of Barry Bonds and how his career became a joke once the steroid thing came into public eye but everyone could tell he was juicing.

But back to NFL news. The Colts have made Andrew Luck the highest paid player in the history of the league. $140 mil over 6 years. I don't get it. He is a good QB but hasn't proven himself yet IMO but their line is bad and they don't have the greatest weapons for Luck to throw to. With a good line in front of him I think he could prove to be a great QB and worthy of that money.
