So it's not about Zodiac??? Sorry, I'm confused. I was under the impression that it was, but thought it was odd that it is being filmed in Canada.

The article that told the plot said nothing about the 69 zodiac saga think it is near present day a very clever serial killer ( zodiacesk ) offers $100k to a poor couple for trying to do something dangerous .like he will be waiting for them when they attempt it ..not the lamest plot ,beats constant CGI IN MY BOOK

It might be decent, but movies today suck for the most part so I'm not expecting much.

The article I saw said Sony pictures was set to make a canadian picture based around the Zodiac killer ,but as I read the rest it seemed nothing to do with the 60's story
I had a favorites link saved but may have cleared it out and now trying to surf for it have not found it . could have been a hopeful PR release in a small online post

Wasn't there some thing about a 'Zodiac Killer North' or something and it had to due with a person thinking Zodiac moved to Canada and started killing kids? I might be way off base.

Yea, I heard aboot this. I like that band OK. I think a lot of movies are made in Canada b/c there's a financial incentive to do so. Plus Canadian-made material gets shown some favoritism in their broadcast media, even if it's Americans actually making it. Like if it was about real Z (it isn't), they would go to SF for a day or two and film some stuff and then everything else would be done in Canada but say the whole thing was happening in the Bay Area.

Lol. I can't find the online story I read about it now but IIRC it's about a fictional SK, maybe a little bit inspired by or based on real Z.
I think I've watched like, 4 Zodiac movies, mostly cheapies and not that good. One of them had the actor that played Sherwood Morrill in the big-budget Z move playing the police chief of like, Vallejo or Benicia. One of them claimed it was about Z and it was but it had a lot of fictional characters and had a lot of shit where being on the Z investigation caused this detective to have some problems in his personal life. It was so bad I didn't finish watching it.
Last night I tried to watch one about Karla Holmoka. It was actually pretty good and the actress that played Karla was like, fucking hotter than a cat's ass. But they made her a little more sympathetic than I think they should have and it was bringing me down so much that I gave up on that one too.

Fincher's film is the only one I have seen that I actually liked. Curse of the Zodiac was terrible and the guy who made that one made another one that sucked, I think it was just called the Zodiac Killer. I haven't seen the entire 1971 Zodiac Killer movie yet, but heard it is decent.
