"The Unknown Man"

This photo of Darlene Ferrin and the "Unknown Man" seems to be a big deal to some people but i personally think it is her ex-husband Jim Crabtree although he denies it is him

I don't really pay much attention to this pic at all. I agree that the man in the pic is Crabtree.

Yeah but I just don't get why he would deny it is him.

Wasn't it established that this IS Jim Crabtree in the pic or am I wrong? I also don't think much of this pic because even if it was determined 100% who the man was, so what? Does that mean he killed Darleen? Probably not. She "got around" so there could be a number of guys who could have killed her, but I do think she absolutely knew her killer.

Where was this pic taken? Looks like a small-ish place maybe an apartment or a small house? It must be small if the couch and table are that close to the fireplace. The fireplace is in great condition which is weird. The couch is in great shape. Did the person who live here just move in? I'm fairly certain that this is probably a brand new house. Most apartments back then did not have a fireplace.

Darlene is dressed like it's winter time. This pic to me just shouts 'winter vacation.' Did her and this man go somewhere to visit family or friends? Maybe in Colorado? Maybe NorCal, Oregon or Washington?

Why does the guy have a ring on his finger? Was he married and seeing Darlene on the side? I could totally see her seeing a married guy.

Does anybody know what year the pic is from?

Why do people want to dissect every single thing about this pic? I'm sure this guy is just one of many that Darlene had been with. And nobody even knows for sure she was 'with' this guy.

You can't tell me that the "Unknown Man" is not Jim Phillips, whether he denies it or not.

The mouth is identical. The neck and ears look the same and the hair is hard to tell in the pic on the left, hard to see. The nose is a little hard to see but looks identical.
