Sherwood Morrill claimed that the handwriting between the Riverside letters and the Z letters were a match. I don't see it myself, but he's the expert, not me. Do you guys think Zodiac was the one who killed Cheri Jo?

I chose "undecided," because I have not seen enough to convince me either way. But, Z case or not, it would be great to see this case solved!

Voted no because I dont think it was. I think Z took credit for it just for the hell of it, after it was published in the newspapers. And maybe that is why he sent a lteer to the LA Times was so it would be more believable that it was him but i just dont think it was. The handwriting on the Bates letters looks to be way off when compared to Z letters.

Fair enough. I am not sure what Sherwood Morrill saw that made him determine that the "Bates Had to Die" letters were from the same person who wrote the Zodiac letters. I don't see it either. But just the fact that the killer sent the letters is something to make you scratch your head, right?
