Movies filmed in the bay area in the 60's
I kinda like the idea that Zodiac may have worked in the movie business - maybe a behind the scenes guy of some sort? I spend a lot of time on the IMDb website so I might as well look into movies filmed in the bay area during the 1960's. Hell, maybe Zodiac's name is on there somewhere! Also, it could be worth looking into in case there are any underground movies nobody has ever heard of that could have a Zodiac link of some sort.
We already know of House of Zodiac and Naked Zodiac, which are both discussed in this thread here:

Re: Movies filmed in the bay area in the 60's
I guess any film posted here doesn't necessarily have to be filmed in the bay area.
The Trip (1967) filmed in Hollywood and Santa Monica.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062395/locations?ref_=tt_dt_dt
"Paul Groves (Peter Fonda), a television commercial director, is in the midst of a personality crisis. His wife Sally (Susan Strasberg) has left him and he seeks the help of his friend John (Bruce Dern), a self-styled guru who's an advocate of LSD. Paul asks John to be the guide on his first "trip". John takes Paul to a "freak-out" at his friend Max's (Dennis Hopper) pad. Splitting the scene, they score some acid from Max and return to John's split-level pad with an indoor pool. Paul experiences visions of sex, death, strobe lights, flowers, dancing girls, witches, hooded riders, a torture chamber, and a dwarf. He panics but John tells him to "go with it, man." Would you trust John?"
Dennis Hopper rules!!

Thunder Island (1963) filmed in Puerto Rico.
"A central American woman hires an American hit man to assassinate the former dictator of her island country. The plan is foiled by another American while attempting to save the lives of his wife and child."
I just found the movie poster interesting, with the crosshair that is.

Bullitt (1968) was of course filmed in San Francisco.

"An all guts, no glory San Francisco cop becomes determined to find the underworld kingpin that killed the witness in his protection."

That could be... not really any way of knowing unless a family member were asked about it, but either way it is something to think about.

Shit, I'd take it even with those things missing! Someone will still pay a small fortune for it.
