code in the lost wrist watch?
The supposedly dropped wristwatch at the crime scene could have back then held a code to whom Cheri's killer was .
that watch ,selfwinding if really the killers had to be serviced usually 2 times a year to keep it running and accurate and it was only a couple of bucks , when the repairers did it they would scratch a symbol in the inside of the back denoting what shop and what repair most times .

The watch was traced back to a military PX overseas.
