I didn't see that but that is good news!!! I really hope they test the DNA of Fred Manalli's sister. I think his DNA is what they pulled from the stamp.

Re: S F looking at Zodiac DNA again
I read the topic of this thread - 'Re: S F looking at Zodiac DNA again' and couldn't help but chuckle to Myself and think:
"Yeah, that is all they will do too, just look at it."
They won't run it through CODIS because, according to them, the sample is only a partial sample and while it may be used to conclusively exclude suspects (such as was the case for suspect Arthur Leigh Allen), it cannot be conclusively matched with any degree of certainty to a known offenders DNA.
So if the SFPD, who have down the years gone out of their way to thwart any attempts to reopen, retest, or even speak about the Zodiac case have said they are going to look at The Zodiac DNA again then I would assume that to have been said in the most literal of context.
In other words, the Detective may get the sample of the Suspected DNA of the Zodiac, place it on their desk and go: "Ohh look, there's the Zodiac DNA" then put it back away and thus that allows the Dpt. to state truthfully that it has "Looked at Zodiac DNA" again and no new leads have been obtained via it probably due to, in reality: "It looked the same as it did last time we looked at it."
