okla. radio talk show

Ophion or anyone remember the small remote  Oklahoma radio station that had a talk show -not much of a station really a very low watt, 25 miles in every direction , think it was on a Indian reservation. On this talk show in 92? a caller started talking about the zodiac killer even though the show was not about that subject ,the host said he got the chills from listening from him like he was very knowledgable on Zodiac ,he the host asked if he was the zodiac and he said nothing  or hung up , as I remember  someone posted a thread on ZKS -the old site  maybe post it here or  the facts of it  I can't

no ,it was a member of ZKS that posted it at the early site ,there used to be alot of interesting posts like that ,that were ommited at the new one ....more room for Ross... I guess
I would like to find it too I think the station was on a Kiowa Indian reservation , weren't some Z cryptic symbols like theirs , and thought it said the main place in listening range that had a pay phone was a bar ,like this guy had a few and couldn't resist talking

a site showed article of a call to a oklahoma city radio staion on Dec.8 1969 where a caller said he was trhe zodiac and things were to hot in S F and he had to get out of there , police looked into it saying he was not Z ,but I wonder how they knew who it was that called ?

Wow, that is interesting. I always wondered if Z left the area after the Stine murder but his partner still mailed in things to make the police think Zodiac was still out there doing his thing. Maybe that is why the partner went on to become a serial killer himself. I dunno, just an idea, bit I really do think Manalli was the partner and later became the Santa Rosa Hitchhiker Murderer. People probably get sick of me saying that, but oh well.

If I remember right they traced the caller to a small bar or likely that bar as it came from a indian reservation and at the time 10 pm that was about the only phones available ,it ssid the dj knew little about zodiac ,but researched it later and the caller knew his facts

Somewhere on this site there is a guy who I had researched a long time ago that moved from the bay area to Oklahoma and I think he lived in Riverside around the time Cheri Jo Bates was murdered. I will see if I can find the guy's name again.
