I agree that the concept is interesting but still optimistic about this flick. I will watch it just to see how bad it is.

At the end of a so -so film, the antagonist
is the infamous zodiac killer ...how cheesy
you could do it with any weak movie .
just glad the 07 zodiac was not made by B or C grade actors / companies
Sony pictures ,now going to farm out any traditional /realistic style film, so they can place the blame on them when it bombs ?

Agreed. I like the IDEA of this movie, but the cast looks pretty shitty. It's like that movie The Purge, the IDEA behind the movie, or the concept, is fantastic, but the movie itself sucks. I'm going to give Awakening the Zodiac a chance but my expectations going into it will be very low.

I had low expectations for this movie but it really wasn't all that bad. A little disappointed with the performance by the guy who played Zodiac though. He wasn't a very good actor. The concept of the movie is what I liked the most. The storyline was kind of cool. The acting was so-so. Overall I think it was better than expected but still not great. I would recommend it though.
