'Here's a clue....' - FBI partly Decipher Code:
Don't know if everyone knows of this FBI report that seems to indicate their Cryptography Dpt. did rather well in cracking at least part of Z's Code and the message seems to suggest in Specimen A:
"*Redact name*must die for Her filthy flirtatious ways. She is so impossibly shallow and stuck Up."
Specimen 2 Decipherment text:
"If You wish to know My Identity You will have to put some effort into it and not fiddle and fart around. Here is a Clue, Ask Misses **Redacted Name** if She remembers who draws the symbol, then You will have Me. Good Luck."

I'm pretty sure I have seen this before, but not for sure. It would be cool to see more on this.

The specimen 2 is merely a rewriting of a letter, not a codebreak.....
The Specimen 1 has an interesting phrase......
FIFTY MEGAHERTZ......
The 6-meter band is a portion of the very high frequency (VHF) radio spectrum allocated to amateur radio use. Although located in the lower portion of the VHF band, it nonetheless occasionally displays propagation mechanisms characteristic of the high frequency (HF) bands. This normally occurs close to sunspot maximum, when solar activity increases ionization levels in the upper atmosphere. During the last sunspot peak of 2005, worldwide 6-meter propagation occurred making 6-meter communications as good as or in some instances and locations, better than HF frequencies. The prevalence of HF characteristics on this VHF band has inspired amateur operators to dub it the "magic band". wrote:
This seems to lend more credence to the fact that these were operations and they were passing information through different methods, through HAM radio, newspapers, tv shows, etc.
