The Lions are 0-4. I can't believe that. They are now behind the Bears for last place in the division. Megatron isn't having a very good season at all. Their defense looks solid, but the offense has really had some problems.

The Lions at 0-4 is shocking. I pegged them at 2nd in the division behind the Packers and had them as a Wild Card team.

what an exciting day of football. 49ers got a big win. a much needed win. glad the seahawks lost again. and the cardinals lost so we gained a little ground in the nfc west race

stafford really responded today and had a big game. sure it was against the bears and it took them overtime to do it but they really needed to get into the win column today and they did so.

All NFL teams are now at either 8 or 9 games so the playoff picture is starting to take shape, although there is still plenty of time for teams to make a run. I think New England is looking like the best team in the league and they should make the Super Bowl. The Bengals are still unbeaten and could give the Pats a good fight, but I don't see them falling just short. Denver can potentially take New England down, but Peyton Manning and the offense need to step up. They can't keep relying on their defense to win games.

Carolina is unbeaten, but I'm doubting them as a Super Bowl caliber team. But who will take them down? I think it will be Green Bay. I have said it before, but I hate giving the Fudge Packers any praise because I am a Vikings fan... but... Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in the league and he knows how to win when it matters the most. I got New England beating Green Bay in the Super Bowl.

But what about my Vikings? They are 6-2 and in a tie with Green Bay for the top spot in the NFC North. Well, the Vikings are not quite ready to compete at that high of a level yet. YET! The offense has been inconsistant, as has QB Teddy Bridgewater. Teddy has potential, but to continue growing as an NFL QB, he needs better protection and more weapons. The WRs have been underwhelming (besides Stefon Diggs) and Kyle Rudolph has basically done nothing. Having Sully and Loadholt injured on the OL is huge. But the defense has played really well. They have allowed just 140 point this year, which is 2nd in the NFL behind Denver.

What the hell is going on with Manning? I really like the guy, but he sucks this year. I bet he won't be back next season. Glad he broke the all-time yardage record though.

The Packers losing was awesome! I think they have lost 3 in a row or 3 of the last 4, something like that. Vikings are all alone at the top of the NFC North! Huge game against the Packers next week. It better be on TV down here! I'll be pissed if I don't get to watch it.

Manning is banged up but he seemed ok sunday
We had 4 interceptions but could have had 6_8
We should have beaten them the 1st game too
They were slugging at our r backs ball that should be a foul
I hope the guy who was ejected for punching gets a 3,4 game susp.

manning is pretty much done for. he wont be back next year. not a chance. he might play a little more this year but they will probably sit him a couple games to heal his foot. they really should have upgraded their offensive line in the offseason.

Manning wears #18 and this is his 18th season in the NFL. Coincidence? I think not. I hope he hangs it up at the end of the season. He just doesn't have it anymore. I have enjoyed watching him play and he will go down as the best of all time.

Vikings vs Cardinals tomorrow night. Huge game for the Vikings. Cards have a nice 3 game lead in their division but the Vikes are tied with Green Bay and really need this one.

A question
Say a NFL team is favored to win by 20 or more and they lose by 27
What would the odds pay off in los wages any idea 10,15 to 1 ? More?
The reason I ask is Falcons vs Chiefs on mon. Nite football in 04 Falcons were heavy favorites but lost by almost 40
2014 Patriots heavy favorites on sunday nite but loose by 35
2015 Bronkos epic fail but were faved to win
There were other games too

Chiefs and Steelers both advance in the AFC Wild Card games. Chiefs won 30-0 over the Texans and have now won 11 in a row. Don't leave them out of Super Bowl discussions!

Tomorrow we got the NFC Wild Card games; Green Bay @ Washington and Seattle @ Minnesota. If the Vikings win and Packers lose, it will be a glorious day!!

As a diehard Iowa State fan, I am used to losing games on plays such as that. Way too many kicks to the nuts in the last 25+ years. But still, this one stings. The Vikings exceeded all expectations this year though, and they will just get better. They are very young and have some amazing talent on both sides of the ball. Gotta remember that their 2 best offensive lineman missed the entire season with injuries and they still went 11-5 and should have won the Wild Card game today.

Yeah, that Bengals and Steelers game was crazy. Everyone is making a big deal about Adam Jones' penalty, but why were the Steelers not penalized for having an assistant coach that far onto the field? And I agree with you... FUCK THE STEELERS!!!
