Re: Xenophon L. Anthony
"Xenophon Lusby Anthony bequeaths his middle name to Harlan Nathaniel Vale and offers to pay him six dollars if he will take it."
from 1949 yearbook but I don't have an account with that site but it is from the class will on page 17.
there was a Harlan Nathaniel Vale in washington that married Virginia Lou Jackson and they have 2 children - Mark Harlan Vale and Crystal lynn Vale. Virginia also was married to a man named E Leray Kelley but im not sure if that was before or after Harlan.
there was a Harlan Nathaniel Vale (1933-2007) in Washington that married Barbara Simpanen in 1978
I don't know why im looking this guy up even

Subscribe!! That is another word for "Pay Now" isn't it! Not falling for the old substitution cipher word play. I shall subscribe to nothing that I can get free in a library's archive/records. :-)
But if another member wises to subscribe for Me then please, by all means... Hehe

I have found One of an apparent total of Four. XL L. Anthony is One, but there is an alleged total of Four as suggested and seen here:
I did a brief search on the name you provided (XL L Anthony) and came up with the following: -
http://quanki.com/person.php?person=0BXJB4E2RRN
Among the names listed in the related people section is a Xenothon Anthony. Not sure if this is an alias or a simple misspelling, though it's probably the latter. When I get a little time, I'll see if I can look into it more extensively.
Looking at Ancestry's records and the only thing I'm finding of note is that Anthony had an address in San Rafael. Again, I'll try to do a more comprehensive search as soon as I'm afforded the opportunity...

Re: Xenophon L. Anthony
Well it is pronounced as ' ZEN-A-THON. '
I Think even the ancient Greeks had a few dyslexic's. Confusing X for Z when trying to spell Xenophon. X incorrectly stand in for Z while silent P arrives Four letters later which should be a non silent F. ZEN-A-FON. No wonder Mr Anthony took to serial homicide, poor chap!

Now your just being Xenophobic.
Xenophobia: A prejudice or dislike for people that come from other Countries.
I thought the word for that was "British"

Re: Xenophon L. Anthony
Xenophobia, I propose, needs a definition change.
Xenophobic: The non irrational fear of Cosmos Named Serial Killers. Eg, The Welsh Chap is extremely Xenophobic L. Anthony.

HAHA!!! How do we go about making that a real thing? Maybe we could bribe the folks at Webster's Dictionary.

I did once say though Chad, on a thread over at Morphine's site somewhere, that Mr Manalli is categorically ruled out as a potential Suspect on account of Myself being extremely disappointed if I discover that for many years I have perused a mysterious Cipher writing villain, one called 'Fred.'
I will not hear of it! What an absolutely anti-Climactic Ending that would be!

. . . TA-DAAAAA
Fred!
I'd be at the press conference they would no doubt call to announce the Zodiac Case as Solved and I would be first to question SFPD's Chief:
"Alex Lewis, The Let Down Times... Can you confirm for us Chief Zodiac's Name really is fuc***g Fred!"
I must say I do believe I would feel somehow cheated! I mean Zodiac marketed Himself as if He was running for Office against the BTK for looney in general of the United States.
"Vote Zodiac now on 1-800 3712 Jackson Street.
... Fred, Killing people,.... Democratically! !*
I get depressive just talking of it in the hypothetical! No no no no and f'ing No! Rite that's it! Where is He? "OK You, yes You...Fred, I wantA full refund immediately! The product was sold to Me as Mysterious....Intreiging...aura of faceless fascination who's told Me He is too clever for the Blue Meanie Bunch. And all along, it's Fred! Money back, NOW!"

I think fred was just the letter writer and wanted to kill but didn't until the z thing was done and over and then he started killing in santa rosa. I bet he had a meeting with Z saying he wanted to do a killing instead of just being a letter writer and z told him 'no, your name is fred. we cant have a guy named fred killing people. the media would laugh at us if they found out the killer's name is fred. now get your felt tip pen and some paper, bitch!' maybe that is why fred became the santa rosa hitchhiker killer. he was pissed at z and needed to take it out on some young girls

That's very funny. I'm American, so it took me awhile to get it.
Another synonym that comes to mind is "T-Rump voter."
And BTW, I don't think I've mentioned it on here, finding XLA waz an excellent bit of Zsearch, W2G!

Thank You M, it took about Two years and Three Freedom of Information requests to get His Name release. Once I got it I googled Xenophon and first result came back as His Obituary. It gave his date of passing as Jan of 2016. That then immediately explained why they refused to release His Name in the Two FOIA's I filed prior to this date.
I filed the third,as luck would have it, in December of 2015 and by the time the FBI sent it to the DOJ for a case officer to review & give a 'Yay or Nay' as to whether the FBI can release the requested info/details or if it is exempt.
Xenophon had, by the time the DOJ Reviewed the request, passed away and so it was approved.

Are any of the folks at ZKS or ZK aware of any of this? I'm not signed up with either of them, tho' I occasionally lurk , especially ZKS and I'm pretty sure I haven't seen a mention of XLA anywhere but here and at www.zodiacciphers.com, which I think I finally figured out is "Richard's site."
Anyway, everybody have a good one!

Somebody (I believe it was Richard Grinell) started a thread on ZK.com, but it was promptly deleted.
